Jade owns and runs JLS Outdoor Service out of Ione. That means Jade is the one who comes out to look at your yard, the one who works out what it will cost, and the one on site while it is being built. Eric is on the crew as well, so between them you will usually be dealing with someone who was there from the first walkthrough.
It is a deliberately small operation. The upside is that nothing gets lost in a chain of people — you talk to the person doing the work. The downside is that we cannot be in four places at once, so sometimes the honest answer about a start date is “not this month.”
What we are genuinely good at is the heavy, patient end of landscaping: stone that has to sit right, flagstone that cannot rock, water that has to run where you say it runs, walls that have to stay plumb on ground that would rather they did not.

We would rather tell you something is not worth doing than take the money for it. If a fence only needs its bottom rails replaced, that is what we will quote. If a wall needs to come out and be rebuilt, we will tell you that too, even though it is the answer nobody wants.
